Edward E. Smith, 62, of Bobtown, Pa., passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, February 24, 2026, in his home. Born in Waynesburg April 7, 1963, he was a son of Jimmy and Susan Terlesky Smith of Bobtown.A 1981 graduate of Mapletown High School, Ed’s first job was at Bruno’s Gulf Station in Newtown. He later worked at Houze Glass in Point Marion, Pa. and in the supply house at Shannopin Mine in Bobtown, while also going to school for diesel mechanics.
