Ticket lottery in effect for one-night-only performance of ‘The Book of Mormon’

Tickets for “The Book of Mormon,” winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, will be released via lottery. The show plays one night only, Wednesday, at the WVU Canady Creative Arts Center. A limited number of tickets will be available at $25 each. The lottery for the Broadway production has attracted as many as 800 entries at some performances. Alsop announces plans to leave WVU

West Virginia University announced in a press release on Tuesday that Rob Alsop plans to leave the university. In light of Alsop’s departure, Gee plans to reorganize the strategic initiatives unit, of which Alsop has served as vice president for the past six years. According to the release, Alsop will temporarily transition to the role of special adviser to the president, effective Nov. 18 through Jan. 31, 2024.
