MORGANTOWN — Elizabeth Chinn, charged with first-degree murder for allegedly shooting 67-year-old Timothy Pahl to death during a burglary at his home on Old Stewartstown Road on April 22, 2018, will be appointed a new attorney. The Monday hearing before Judge Phillip Gaujot was scheduled as a motions hearing. Two-vehicle crash kills motorcycle driver

MORGANTOWN — A motorcyclist is dead after a two-vehicle accident near The Shack Neighborhood House on Monday according to Monongalia County Sheriff Perry Palmer. The crash on Blue Horizon Drive was reported about 11:30 a.m. A motorcycle and passenger vehicle were involved in the crash and the motorcyclist died as a result of injuries caused by the crash, Palmer said. KINGWOOD — Preston County has more than 564 unsettled estates on file at the county courthouse, just for January 2000 through July 2016. Hundreds of older estates have dragged on for decades. But that’s about to change.
