EQT cutting nearly 200 positions across the company

PITTSBURGH — A reorganization will reduce the total workforce for EQT Corporation by 23 percent, 196 positions, according to company information released earlier this week. It was not immediately clear where or when the job cuts within the natural gas company would be made. ARTHURDALE, W.Va. — Police from Preston and Monongalia Counties searched late into the night for a wanted felon who ran from officers, stole a car and then abandoned it. Mark Hart is wanted on several felony warrants, according to Preston Chief Deputy P.A. Pritt. Preston Sheriff’s Capt. J.H. Bryan said Deputy Hovatter was patrolling on W.Va. 92 in Arthurdale about 4 p.m. Tuesday when he saw Hart walking along the road near West Preston School. Westwood Middle School to hold 9/11 event highlighting locals with first-hand experience of attacks

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The Westwood Middle School will hold a 9/11 remembrance and memorial event today, the 18th anniversary of the attacks. KINGWOOD — It should be smooth walking, driving and marching on Tunnelton Street during the Preston County Buckwheat Festival.
