West Virginia ranks second-to-last in family income

This might not be a good time of year to learn this, but a national financial website said West Virginia has the second-lowest median family income in the country. Only Mississippi has a lower median salary. According to 247wallst.com, the median (half have above, half below) family income in the Mountain State is $57,718, Mississippi topped the list with $57,380. Arkansas was third with $58,080. Johnson pleads guilty to 6 charges

KINGWOOD — On Tuesday, Clay Conor Johnson, 32, pleaded guilty to DUI, reckless driving, obstruction, aggravated DUI, and two counts of destruction of property. All six charges are misdemeanors. KINGWOOD — The Preston County Commission passed a resolution this week in support of “protecting and preserving,” UMWA Plan pensions and health care. Subdivision regulations document not done, pushed back to early 2020

Monongalia County Director of Planning Andrew Gast-Bray said the county’s subdivision regulations document is about 80% complete. The timeline for getting the regulations before the Monongalia County Commission for public comment and a vote has been pushed from November to early 2020. “I really do think we could force this through now, but why,” Gast-Bray said. “The whole idea is the outcome.
