One dead in Core dirt bike accident

One person died Thursday afternoon in an accident the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Office says involved a pickup truck and a dirt bike. According to a press release from Sheriff Perry Palmer, deputies responded to an accident on Henderson Hollow Road in Core shortly after 3 p.m. Thursday. Mon County Judge Robert Stone dies at 79

The Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia announced Monday the death of Senior Status Judge Robert B. Stone. Stone served as a circuit judge in Monongalia County for 24 years and was a senior status judge for almost 15 years.
