Troopers seeking unwrapped toys, food

Newsroom@DominionPost.com KINGWOOD — Beginning Dec. 1, the Kingwood Detachment of the West Virginia State Police is accepting donations of canned goods and new unwrapped toys for the annual State Troopers for West Virginia Needy.   Donations will be accepted until Dec. 15 at the detachment at 50 J.T. Prosecuting attorney retires after 20 years

KINGWOOD — After 20 years of service to Preston County, Prosecuting Attorney Melvin C.  Snyder III is retiring. Snyder said he has served five terms as Preston prosecutor and served as assistant prosecutor in 1993-94. “I decided this would be a good time for me to go,” he said.  “This is my fifth term.
