Authorities confirm 3 deaths in Marion Co. plane crash

At least three people died Thursday night in a plane crash in Marion County. Names of the victims were not released. The Marion County Sheriff’s Department released information Friday morning. A call went out at about 7 p.m. Thursday that a plane went down in the Metz area, according to the sheriff’s release. Mannington VFD and several Monongalia County VFDs began searching the area.
