Morgantown led 7-3 at halftime, but the Applemen found the opening points of the second half with a touchdown by Juice Warden from close range with 8:03 left in the third quarter.
Musselman forced the Mohigans to punt on the next drive, leading 10-7 and seemingly building momentum as the offense moved the ball to midfield late in the third quarter.
However, Morgantown senior linebacker Kane Williams intercepted a deflected pass that bounced straight into the air at midfield and returned it for a touchdown, giving the Mohigans a 14-10 lead they wouldn't surrender.
Aidan Petsko added a 31-yard field goal with 2:30 left to play to extend the lead to 17-10, and the Morgantown defense came up with a stop to end the contest.
The Mohigans conclude the 2026 regular season 8-2 after a big road win over Musselman and will await their Class AAAA playoff seeding on Sunday afternoon.
