Judith Kay "Judy" Fields, 85, of Masontown, WV, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2026, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown with family by her side.

She was born in Masontown, WV on July 5, 1941, a daughter of the late Herbert Lee and Betty Lee (Sylvia) Huggins.

Judy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest joy was the family and life she built alongside those she loved. At the heart of Judy's life was her beloved husband of 69 years, Robert "Bob" Fields. Together, they shared nearly seven decades of love, companionship, and memories. Through life's many seasons, they remained by each other's side, building a beautiful life centered around their family. Whether enjoying their time together at home or visiting Sagebrush, it was the simple moments spent together that made their life so special. She was a proud mother of her two children, Bradley and Robin. She shared an extraordinary bond with Robin, who was not only her daughter but also her very best friend. From crafting together for Christmas at the Barn to playing music and sharing life's everyday moments. A 1959 graduate of Masontown High School, Judy was a hardworking and dedicated woman throughout her life. She worked as a bookkeeper for Maurice Jennings, at the shirt factory, Sterling Faucet, Mylan, the Med Center Barber Shop at WVU Health Science Center for 21 years, and lastly at Niosh in Morgantown, where she retired. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, painting, and creating handmade crafts, especially those she made for Christmas at the Barn. Music was another important part of her life. She loved playing guitar and singing, including performing at the Sagebrush Roundup and the Masontown Senior Center with her friends. She was also a wonderful cook, enjoyed cheering on her beloved WVU Mountaineers, and treasured the companionship of her two beloved dogs, Abby and Patsy.

She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Robert "Bob" Fields of Masontown; one daughter, Robin Malcolm and husband, Joe of Masontown; one son, Bradley Fields and wife, Pamela of Morgantown; half-sister, Susie Huggins; grandchildren, Emily Ann Fields, Noah Tyler Fields, Spring and her fiancé Caleb Tallman and Julie and her husband Keith Pearce; seven great grandchildren, Carly, Aaron, Wesley, Leanna, Levi, Bryce and Allie; many cousins; and her beloved dogs, Abby and Patsy.
