September 3, 1945 - October 2, 2026

Douglas Jackson "Jack" Richardson, 81, passed away on October 2, 2026.

Born in Welch, West Virginia, Jack was the son of Blaine and Louise Richardson. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War and later retired from Sterling Fawcett in Morgantown, West Virginia. Following retirement, Jack and his family spent 11 years owning and operating Rippling Stream Campground in Baltimore, Ohio.

Jack was the last surviving sibling of his family. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linda Richardson, in May 2026; his daughter, Rae Lynn Richardson, in 2020; his parents; and his siblings: Blaine Richardson, Shirley Mitchell, Norma Brower, Ronda Richardson, Sharon Beerbower, Virginia Faulknier, and Trisha Richardson, who passed away at birth.

He leaves behind his granddaughter, Bailey Motes; grandson, Tucker Lester; and great-grandchildren, Nolan Wayne Motes and Eleanor Sue Motes.

Jack was a hardworking, loyal, and deeply devoted family man. He showed his love not through grand gestures, but through the steady presence, practical help, and quiet encouragement he offered throughout his life. To his family, he was more than a grandfather--he was a trusted guide, a source of strength, and a place of comfort. They knew they could turn to him in good times and difficult ones, and he would be there without hesitation.

Jack's influence will live on in the family he cared for so faithfully and in the values he modeled: perseverance, responsibility, generosity, and love. His family takes comfort in knowing he is finally reunited with Linda and Rae Lynn. Though his absence is deeply felt, the memories he created and the lessons he shared will continue to shape the lives of those who loved him.
