JoAnn Forman, 84, of Morgantown, West Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, with her loving family by her side. She was born on May 1, 1942, the daughter of the late Ralph Elmer and Dorothy May (Bowers) Thomas.
JoAnn married the love of her life, Ronald James Forman on September 30, 1961. She was an amazing mother of two children, son: Tom (Amy) Forman of Sharpsburg, MD, and daughter: Cheryl Ann Forman of Morgantown; four grandchildren: Tommy Forman (Aislinn) of Hagerstown, MD, Taylor (Robbie) Vinson of Hagerstown, MD, Sammy Larsok (Madison and son Remington) of Morgantown, Chrisopher (Carly) Larsok of Morgantown, and one very special adopted grandchild: Alivia Pompili of Morgantown. One brother: Ron (Nancy) Thomas of Morgantown, sisters-in-law: Thelma (Roger) Willard of Ball Ground, Georgia, and Joy (Jerry) Decker of Morgantown. JoAnn is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as her special fur baby, Calli.
JoAnn is preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law, Joseph Paul Forman, and sister-in-law: Karen Faye Hawkins.
JoAnn was a lifetime member of the Woodland United Methodist Church until health got her down and wasn't physically able to attend. She loved her church family and attended all services and events that were held with her loving husband Ronnie and family.
She enjoyed camping, fishing, and making many memories with her family and friends. JoAnn was happiest at her home on the hill watching for wildlife in the field, and enjoying the beautiful scenery.

Family and friends are invited to gather in McCulla Funeral Home on Friday, October 2, 2026, from 3-7 pm. Visitation will continue on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 10 am until the funeral service begins at 11 am with Pastor Daniel Strosnider officiating. Following the service, JoAnn will be laid to rest in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Online condolences may be extended to the family at www.mcculla.com.
