MORGANTOWN -- Suncrest United Methodist Church will welcome the community for Fall Fest '26 on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the church, located at 479 Van Voorhis Road in Morgantown.
The annual community celebration will bring together a full afternoon of fall activities, food and family fun, including The Great SUMC Pumpkin Patch, featuring pumpkins delivered from New Mexico and large fall mums from West Greene High School FFA.
One of the day's featured events will be the Adam Shine Memorial Car Show, held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The show honors the memory of Adam Shine and welcomes classic, modern and custom vehicles for an afternoon celebrating cars, community and Adam's lasting memory.
Throughout the festival, visitors can also enjoy craft vendors, a Chili Cook-Off, Cake Walk, Bingo, themed basket raffles and auction, family games, fall photo opportunities and a variety of food, including homemade sloppy joes at the concession stand.
The afternoon will also feature one of Fall Fest's most anticipated attractions -- The Great Pumpkin Drop with the Morgantown Fire Department, when a pumpkin takes a very memorable trip from high above the festival grounds.
The event is designed to offer something for all ages while giving families and neighbors an opportunity to gather and enjoy the fall season together.
"Fall Fest is one of our favorite opportunities to open our doors and welcome the entire community," said Christina Hostutler, Congregational Life Director at Suncrest United Methodist Church. "There is so much happening throughout the day, but what makes it special is seeing people from all over the community come together, visit, laugh, eat and simply enjoy being together. Whether you come for the cars, pumpkins, vendors, food or the Pumpkin Drop, we hope you'll feel right at home."
Fall Fest '26 is admission free and open to the public.
