MORGANTOWN – A 15-year-old boy has been reported missing Wednesday morning, according to a release from the Monongalia County Sheriff’s department.
Tristan Sine is approximately 5 feet, 11 inches tall, 190 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes, the release said. He was last seen in a maroon shirt, grey pants and white shoes carrying a blue backpack, according to surveillance footage.
Sine has a butterfly tattoo on his back shoulder, a heart tattoo on his left ankle and a flower tattoo on his right ankle that can be used for identification, the release said.
Aaron Ryan, Sheriff's Office director of communications and public affairs, explained that Sine was reported to leave his residence Tuesday night in an attempt to leave the area.
"Tristan left his residence sometime overnight. Based on a note left behind, it is believed he may be attempting to board a bus to travel away from the area," Ryan said in the release.
