Local Kindermusik program gets top designation

MORGANTOWn - Musical Footprints Presents Kindermusik With Penni has been named a Top Program by Kindermusik International, the world's leading provider of music-based education for infants, toddlers and young children.

Penni Witt is a Kindermusik Accredited Educator and the owner of Musical Footprints Presents Kindermusik, which has been serving Morgantown-area families since 2003. The Kindermusik Top Program award recognizes excellence in spreading the lasting developmental benefits of music and movement through Kindermusik's "a cappella" studio curricula.

Musical Footprints Presents Kindermusik joins a select group of early childhood music programs who offer Kindermusik classes around the world. Witt and her team reach over 125 families per year. Together with Witt, Kindermusik accredited educators Ava Reynolds and Hannah Stalnaker bring their passion and expertise to the program as they encourage families to connect and learn in a supportive environment.

"As we enter our 24th year, I feel honored to serve the families of Morgantown in a meaningful way. Children respond to music in a manner that opens the door for learning in all areas of the brain. Watching our families light up as they connect through song, dance, and instrument exploration is absolutely heartwarming!," Witt said. "When our doors open for the upcoming session in mid September, we will welcome back families who have been with us for several years as their children have progressed through the program, and we will meet lots of new families! It's always an exciting time of year!"
