Randall Eugene "Randy" Queen, 79, of Morgantown, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, August 18, 2026, in Ruby Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Clarksburg January 28, 1947, a son of the late Ernest Kenneth and Madelyn Smith Queen.
He was married to Karole Conrad Queen June 26, 1976, who preceded him in death August 31, 2020.
Surviving are two daughters, Valare (Dale) Miller of Morgantown, Amie Hartley of Morgantown; four grandchildren, Dylan Miller and fiancee Katelyn Geiger, Ava (Tyler) Kalbaugh, Kendyll Miller and partner Jordin Matheny, and Kolby Stahl; three great-grandchildren, Weston and Jaxson, and Oakley Kalbaugh; one sister, Karen Carvelli (Jim) of Stonewood; sisters-in-law, Winifred Holland, Miriam Bland, and Janet Conrad; and brothers-in-law, Russel (Jim) Conrad and Paul Morris.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, Jim Queen and wife Gale; sisters-in-law, Lee Heatherly, Kay Morris, and Addie Walls; and brothers-in-law, Mark Conrad and Frank Bland.
Mr. Queen was a 1964 graduate of Washington Irving High School and attended college classes in Washington, DC.
He was a human resources technician for the federal government and was Lutheran by faith. Randall previously worked with USBA-FS in Washington, DC, NIOSH human resources in Morgantown, and retired after 40 years with the federal government from DOE-BETL human resources in Morgantown.
Randall served on the board of Stonewood Forests HOA in Morgantown, coached girls' basketball at Ridgedale Elementary School, taught Sunday school at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, and was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church Choir.
Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, Friday, August 21, from 12:30 to 2 p.m., the time of funeral services, with Pastor Peggy Williams officiating. Interment will be in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
