Carol Eva Snoderly, 75, of Kingwood, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2026, in Mon Health Medical Center, Morgantown, with family by her side. She was born December 26, 1950, in Oakland, Md., a daughter of the late Walter Benjamin Reckart and Katherine Martha Wolfe Reckart.
Carol took on the most important role as a homemaker. She enjoyed camping at her homeplace, riding in the side- by-side looking for deer, and cooking, always making sure everyone had something to eat and never left hungry. Carol loved to watch scary movies, especially Svengoolie on Saturday's, but most of all she loved spending time with her family as they were her pride and joy.
She is survived by her loving husband, Lynn Snoderly; her children, Alesia Everett (Clifford), Cynthia Moats (Ben), Holly Cater (Robert); grandchildren, Amber Yoder (Matt), Amanda Holmes (Charles), Alexis Ribniscky (Tyler), Benny Moats, Bobby Cater; six great-grandchildren; and sister, Patricia Jordan (Donald).
In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by three brothers, Larry Reckart, Willard Reckart, and Terry Reckart.
Friends may call at the Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home, Terra Alta, Friday, August 7, from 3 until the 6 p.m. time of service.
To honor her wishes, Carol will be cremated.
