MORGANTOWN – Aspire Services Center, the veteran-focused nonprofit providing structured environments for adults recovering from addiction, is rolling ahead with its most striking fundraiser to date.
Sadly, some pins may be harmed in the process.
Suburban Lanes will be the setting up from 6-8 p.m. July 25 for the Stars & Strikes Celebrity Bowl.
Individual bowling tickets, which include a pass for food, can be purchased for $125. A limited number of non-bowler tickets are available for $50.
Sponsorship packages are available for $500, $1,000 and $2,000.
The format will be a two-game, four-person team bowling tournament, with an assigned celebrity for each of the two teams. The 1st place team and overall individual winner will receive plaques.
The event will also include a silent auction and a 50/50 drawing (so bring cash).
Located within Hazel’s House of Hope, Aspire Services Center was started by a group of local businessmen and healthcare providers looking to address the unmet needs of West Virginia citizens with a focus on veterans.
Based on three core tenants – Recovery, Reentry, Residence, the agency institutes a model of care addressing the overall impact of substance abuse, homelessness, mental illness and unemployment.
