William Allen Fieldhouse

William Allen Fieldhouse, 68, of Burlington, N.D., passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2026. Bill was born November 1, 1957 in Cumberland, Ky., and came with his family to Morgantown at the age of 4. While Morgantown was always his home base, his father’s work took the family to both Turkey and Saudi Arabia for several years.
He dedicated more than 35 years to Shaft Drillers International, where he worked as a superintendent.
Bill was the son of the late William L. Fieldhouse and Doris Hoffman Fieldhouse and was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, George Stoker, Jr.; and nephew, Shannon Jackson.
He is survived by his children, William P. Fieldhouse (Heather), Dia Fieldhouse, Alisha Fieldhouse (Justin), Katelyn Adkins (Daniel), Jessica Sims (Austin); his sisters, Caroline Stoker, Sherry Fieldhouse Salai (Frank), and Sharon Jackson (Alli); his adored grandchildren, Ashley, Wesley, Adaleigh, Hailey, Addison, and Ellie; and nephew, Casey Jackson (Lori-Ann). He is also survived by his life partner, Connie Kaminski; his best friend (brother from another mother), Mickey McCardle (Billie); and his feline fur baby, Scruffy.
He loved working on drag cars, fishing, boating, gardening, camping and tinkering on anything that needed fixing. He touched countless lives through his kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for those around him, especially his family.
Today, even in his passing, Bill continues to help others through the gift of organ donation. It is a final act that reflects exactly who he was—a man who always put others before himself and never hesitated to help someone in need.
According to his wishes, cremation services were provided by Thomas Family Funeral Home in Minot, N.D. A celebration of life will be held in Morgantown and announced at a later date.
