Genevieve Delores Thomas Ference, 99, a lifelong resident of Morgantown, passed away Friday, April 10, 2026, in Sundale Nursing Home in Morgantown.
Friends may join the family to honor Genevieve’s life and legacy at Smith Funeral & Cremation Care, 108 Holland Avenue, Westover, 304-292-9494, from 10 until 11:30 a.m. Thursday, April 16, when the procession will leave the funeral home immediately after the visitation for East Oak Grove Cemetery, where graveside committal rites will be accorded by Msgr. Anthony Cincinnati, STD, VE.
