Joshua J. “Josh” Jurosco, 52, of Morgantown, W.Va., formerly of Footedale, Pa., passed away suddenly Wednesday, April 8, 2026, in Ruby Memorial Hospital.
He was born July 22, 1973 in Uniontown, a son of the late Robert L. and Sandra Marie Dunn Jurosco, Sr.
Josh graduated from Tri-Valley Area High School, Class of 1991. He then furthered his education, graduating from California University of Pennsylvania with his B.S. Degree in Chemistry and received his Masters in Business Administration degree from West Virginia University.
Josh was employed in the pharmaceutical industry, first with Mylan Pharmaceuticals and currently was working at GE Healthcare, both of Morgantown.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Kimberly Jurosco; nephew, Michael Swaney.
Josh is survived by his wife of 19 years, Jennifer R. Costello Jurosco.
He was a loving cat dad to Vian and Wren; and is also survived by two sisters, Robyn Jurosco and Kathy (Ronald) Hernanskey; a brother, Robert L. “Jody” (Kathy) Jurosco, Jr.; mother-in-law, Melanie K. Burge; father-in-law, Bill (Micha) Costello; sister-in-law, Lauren R. (Royce) Larew; nieces and nephews, Brandan (Shauna) Swaney, Eric Hernanskey, Kevin Hernanskey, Robert (Amanda) Jurosco, III, John (Kayla) Swaney; goddaughter, Rebecca (Aaron) Mylan, Trenton Jurosco; and godson, Ryan Larew. He is also survived by several great-nieces and great- nephews; and best friend, MJ (Vicki) Kilkenny.
To honor Josh’s wishes, visitation and funeral services are private for his immediate family only.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Dearth Funeral Home, 35 South Mill Street, New Salem.
