KINGWOOD – The death of a Preston County High School student was announced on the Preston County Schools Facebook Page on Sunday.
“We are sorry to share that a Preston High School Student has tragically died this weekend. This loss is felt deeply across our entire school community,” the post read “Our sympathies go out to the family of the student, and we ask that you keep them in your thoughts during this very difficult time.”
The post went on to say counselors and support staff will be available at Preston High School to support any students or staff who may need someone to talk with in the days ahead.
The student’s name and details about the cause of the death are unavailable at this time.
