Patricia Gail “Patty” Danser, 85, of Morgantown, West Virginia, passed peacefully on Thursday, March 5, 2026, surrounded by her family.
Born May 31, 1940, in Morgantown, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Reva Forbes. Patty grew up on Elysian Avenue in a loving Christian home and shared a lifelong bond with her siblings.
She married the love of her life, Elmer Leroy Danser, on June 27, 1957, and together they built a life centered on family in their mountaintop home overlooking Morgantown and the Appalachian hills.
Patty was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She later worked for Mylan Pharmaceuticals for 31 years, retiring as a Quality Control Clerk. She loved her home, her garden, and especially time spent on the porch with family and friends.
She is survived by her children Vera (Bob) Bryan, Sandy (Bob) Birurakis, Kande (Bill) Brandt, Leroy (Shari) Danser, and Tim (David Campana) Danser; along with many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; siblings; nieces; and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Leroy; her parents Harold and Reva Forbes; granddaughter Holly Christina Danser, and Seth Adam Rush.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens Chapel, with Pastor Kevin Cain officiating.
Friends and family are invited to join the Danser family in celebrating Patty’s life and the love she shared with all who knew her.
