Carolyn Annette Walker passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, in her birthplace and lifelong home of Morgantown.
Born on December 14, 1959, Carolyn lived a full life, leaving a legacy of warmth, love and cherished memories for all who knew her.
Carolyn’s life story cannot be told without mentioning her loving husband of many years, Carl Leo Walker, Jr., who survives her and continues to cherish her memory. Her parents, the late Kenneth Muster and her devoted mother, Betty Lou Morton Wilson, brought her into this world. Although her brother, Kenny Muster, predeceased her, Carolyn’s spirit was reflected in the lives of her children: April Lea Glover (Connie Boykin) of Zebulon, N.C., Christopher Glover (Jamie “Smurf” Glover) and Robert Glover (Nancy Smith), all of Morgantown.
Carolyn, a sister, friend and confidant, is survived by her sisters, Sherry Monazam (Essie) and Cindy; and her brother, Timothy Carder (Kathy), all of whom share a tapestry of precious memories.
Her playful spirit lives on through her grandchildren: Sarahlin Duley, Brandon Smith, Andy Glover, Chelsey Glover, Logan Smazenko, Dilon Glover and Ethan Smazenko; along with her great-grandchildren: Kodie, Becca, Eli and Lilly, who brought immeasurable joy to her life.
Carolyn’s zest for life shone through her many interests. Whether she was singing her heart out during karaoke sessions, tending to her beautiful garden, or settling down to watch her favorite TV shows, she did it with enthusiasm. Above all, Carolyn treasured the moments spent with her family. Her innate ability to make everyone around her laugh will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by those who loved her.
In accordance with Carolyn’s wishes, McCulla Funeral Home has provided cremation services. Her gentle spirit and infectious laughter have left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know her.
