Brenda Lou Newcome Brewer

Brenda LouNewcome Brewer, a devoted wife, mother, Gammy and Aunt B, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2026, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. She was born to Harris B. and Florence Sanders Newcome, November 22, 1952, in Morgantown.
On March 5, 1976, Brenda married the love of her life, Dean D. Brewer, Jr. Their marriage of nearly 50 years was filled with unwavering devotion, partnership, and countless cherished memories. Together, they built a home where love, laughter, and kindness were always present.
Brenda was the proud mother of two children, Timothy D. Brewer (Shauna), and Diana Ellen Brewer Mauller. She was deeply loved by her grandchildren, who brought endless joy into her life: Kara Ellen Beegle, Randall Lee Beegle Jr., Wesley Dean Brewer, Aurora Arizona Mauller, Zoe Elizabeth Casto, and Zayne Bacchus Casto.
Brenda is also survived by her brother, John Newcome; and sisters, Wyonetta Greaser and Cecilia McDonald.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Ralph Darrel Newcome, Sr., Dale Edward Newcome and Mike Newcome.
Brenda found great joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved gardening, nurturing her flowers and plants with care and patience. She never turned down a sweet treat and delighted in sharing desserts with those around her. Music was one of her greatest comforts, and she found joy in listening to her favorite songs, often filling her home with melodies that reflected her personality.
Known for her kindness, her quiet strength, and her ability to make others feel loved, Brenda leaves behind a legacy that will live on in every life she touched. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family.
A celebration of Brenda’s life will be held at a later date. To honor her wishes, compassionate and professional cremation services were provided by Field Funeral Home of Masontown.
