Layle M. Woods

Layle M. “Gail” Woods, 88, of Westover, died Monday, February 16, 2026, in her residence.
She was born June 15, 1937 at Pentress, a daughter of the late Ira Hall Brewer and Maude West Brewer.
Mrs. Woods was a homemaker.
Surviving are one daughter, Loretta Woods, of Westover; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, February 19, in the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason-Dixon Highway, Blacksville. There will be no funeral service. A graveside service will be held at the Olive Cemetery in Pentress.
