Caroline L. Rinehart, 71, of Elkton, Md., passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2026, in her home.
Born in Baltimore, Md., April 19, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Doris Murphy Brady.
She was a waitress, employed by North East Family Restaurant before retiring. Caroline enjoyed quilting and most of all spending time with her family.
Mrs. Rinehart is survived by her stepdaughters, Krystal Rinehart of North East, Md., Pamela Arnold of Elkton; and four stepsons, Duane Rinehart of Elkton, Darren Rinehart of Shoemakersville, Douglas Rinehart of North East, and Anthony Rinehart of Elkton; also, two sisters, Marian Rice and Mary Jane, both of Dover, Del.
In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, James Conley Rinehart, who died October 25, 2022.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 28, in Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, Md.
Visitation will continue Friday, January 30, in Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home in Morgantown, from 10 until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m., with Pastor Dolly Sparks officiating. Interment will be in Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens, Morgantown.
