Christine Elizabeth Mantle Travis, 77, of Grafton, died Sunday, November 30, 2025, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, from injuries sustained in a car wreck.
Born February 26, 1948, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Marie Mantle.
Chris was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother (“Fuff”), who shared 57 years of marriage with her husband, Harry Travis, Jr. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and her beloved rescue dogs.
She is survived by her husband; three children, Laura Schmidt (Robert) of New Town, N.D., Harry Travis III (Lani) of Flagstaff, Ariz., Sarah Rushton (David) of Medina, Ohio; four grandsons, Levi Schmidt, Rylan Travis, and Isaac and Asher Rushton; her brothers, Tom (Monica) Mantle and Bill Mantle; sister-in-law, Susan Daniels (Paul); nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Cremation has taken place. The family asks that remembrances be made through blood donations or a gift to an animal shelter.
