Ruth Ann Jenkins DeVincent, 87, of Confluence, Pa., formerly of Arthurdale, passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025, in Morgantown.
Ruth was born on June 26, 1938, in Aliquippa, Pa., a daughter of the late Thomas H. Jenkins and Bertha Robbins.
Ruth worked as a pharmacy technician at Valley Pharmacy for many years. She was always dressed to the nines and took pride in her appearance. More than anything in the world, she loved her grandchildren and cherished every moment she could spend with them.
Ruth is survived by one son, John DeVincent and his wife, Kelly, of Markleysburg, Pa.; three grandchildren: Kali Nixon and her husband, Brandon, of Pittsburgh, Pa., Chloe Clukey and her husband, Ryan, of Carrollton, Va. and Christian DeVincent of Markleysburg, Pa.; and one sister, Janice Petite and her husband, George, of Morgantown.
In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 22 years, Alfred Eugene DeVincent; one brother, Tom Jenkins; and seven sisters: Bertie Means, Gloria Jenkins, Mary Ellen Lynch, Barbara Reynolds, Mildred Courtney, Beatrice Bacorn and Delores Riley.
Friends may call from 12 until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m, on Saturday, December 6, at Morgan Funeral Home, 13411 Veterans Memorial Highway, Reedsville, with Pastor John DeVincent officiating. In honoring her wishes, Ruth will be cremated following the service.
