Ray E. Forman

Ray E. Forman, 83, of Bruceton Mills (Pisgah community), passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2025, after an extended illness, in the Kingwood Healthcare Center in Kingwood. A son of the late Ervin C. and Agnes Teets Forman, he was born May 17, 1942, on the family farm in Bruceton Mills.
Ray retired as an assembly worker for Ford Motor Company in Ohio.
He is survived by his wife, Stella Ella Simpkins Forman; one son and his wife, Charles E. Forman and Andrea of Longview, Texas; one brother and his wife, Arthur Forman and Dolores; and a sister, Shirley Hiser. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, 18 great- grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Barbara Forman; four sisters-in-law: Pat Forman, Katherine Forman, Joan Simpkins, and Mildred Gibson; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Ervin R. and Stephen Forman; infant brothers, Oran and Howard Forman; three brothers, Carl, Troy, and Francis Edward Forman; a sister and her husband, Dorothy and Tom Mason; and one brother-in-law, Paul Hiser.
Family and friends were welcome in the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville- Bruceton Mills, from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, October 31. Visitation continues in the funeral home from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Saturday, November 1, with Pastor Nick Bolyard officiating. Burial will follow at the East View Cemetery on Compressor Station Road in Bruceton Mills.
