Annalee King Marks, 79, of Morgantown, WV passed away on October 9, 2025 at WVU Hospital. She was born on August 31, 1946 in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Earl and Ivalee King Dawson.
Throughout her career, she worked as a Teacher’s Aid for Cass Elementary, Head Cashier at Hill’s Department Store, and worked for WVU Hospital. In each of these roles, she was respected by colleagues and friends alike. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
Together, Annalee and her husband of 63 years, Jack Marks, were blessed with seven children: Joann (Chuck), Jack (Janna), Lynn (Mike), Janice (Brian), Jenny (Jeremy), Susie (Harry), and Robert. She also leaves behind her nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren who brought great joy to her life as well as her two brothers: Earl (Amy), Robert (Christy); many nieces, nephews, and friends who will cherish her memory and remember her for her kind and caring nature.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three brothers, one sister, and her in-laws.
