A Morgantown woman was killed in a two-vehicle accident Tuesday.
Marlena Dawn Sloan, 44, was driving a sedan northbound at about 4:25 p.m. when she crossed the center line near 235 Smithtown Road, Morgantown, and struck a southbound box truck, according to West Virginia state police.
Sloan was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The two occupants of the box truck were uninjured.
Personnel from the WVSP Crash Reconstruction Team responded to assist, along with local EMS and fire units. The crash remains under investigation.
