Wilford Mike “Hippy” Feather, 71, died Monday, Aug. 4, 2025, at Salem Center.
He was born Sept. 28, 1953, in Confluence, PA, a son of the late Guy and Ellen Hoff Feather of Glade Farms.
Survivors include sons, Sam and Simon Feather of Morgantown; sister, Donna Jones of Hazelton; brother, Terry Feather of Glade Farms; niece, Stevie (Chip) Wilson of Hazelton; great-nephews, Hadley (Jess) and Hayward (Carley) Wilson of Bruceton; and his former wife, Nancy Abrams.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his nephew Tommy Jones.
Hip worked for Interstate Lumber, then Preston Machine Enterprises. Before he became ill, he worked for the Preston Senior Citizens bus garage. He was a hardworking, and hard partying man who enjoyed life.
Cremation services were provided by Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, WV.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
