Gilbert Ray Sell

Gilbert Ray Sell, 85, of Ralph Livengood Road, Albright, passed away, in his home, Friday, July 18, 2025.
A son of the late Daniel and Gracie Dixon Sell, he was born January 11, 1940, in Albright (Lenox).
Ray was employed at Shadow Bronze and was a coal miner.
He is survived by his wife, Wila Dean Sell; four sons: Steven, Brian and Rodney of Valley Point, and Sidney Sell of Morgantown; a brother, Richard Sell of Nashville, Tenn.; and a sister, Bernice Cannon of Lenox. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and four great- grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Ethel Reckart, Barbara Cosner and Louise Lehew; seven brothers, Charles, Sherman, Kenneth, Wesley, Glenn, Larry, and Elmer; and a great grandchild.
Family and friends may call in the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service Tuesday, July 22, with Pastor Joe Carpenter officiating.
Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens at Kingwood.
