Robert Lynn Kent

Robert Lynn Kent, 75, of Morgantown, peacefully passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2025. He was born February 21, 1950, a son to the late Edgar Ray and Ruth Eleanor Smith Kent.
He is survived by his children, Brian Kent of Charlottesville, Va., and Marcie Block of Virginia Beach, Va.; his brother, Gary Kent and his wife, Nancy of Statesboro, Ga.; and sisters, Cynthia Ferrell and husband Ronald of Parkersburg, and Neala Owens and husband W.D. of Bethlehem, Ga.
Robert was the director of career development at West Virginia University and proudly served in the United States Air Force. He was a graduate of Parkersburg South High School in 1968, West Virginia University in 1972, and went on to earn his Masters and Doctorate.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV 26554. All services will be private for the family.
