Judith Lee Kerns Hilling, 62, of Morgantown, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2025, in Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born April 25, 1963, in Morgantown, a daughter of Gerald Lee Kerns and Rose Marie Blosser Kerns.
She retired from the Parking Department at West Virginia University and worked for over a decade at Eat N Park.
Judy loved to travel and especially enjoyed going to the beach; she loved manatees and sea turtles.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 40 years, James A. Hilling; stepmother, Julia Kerns; brother, Alan Kerns (Nacole); and aunt, Karen Adams.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Gerald Kerns, Jr. and Adam Kerns.
Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, on Saturday, July 12, from 10 a.m. until the time of a funeral service at 1 p.m. with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating. Interment will follow at Summers Cemetery.
