Anna Mae Travis Weber, 81, of Morgantown, a native of Point Marion, Pa., passed on to her eternal reward on Tuesday, July 1, 2025.
Born in Point Marion, Pa., on November 5, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Gladys Menear and Grover Cleveland Travis.
She was a member of the first graduating class of the Albert Gallatin High School in 1961, and also attended the Morgantown Business College.
Anna Mae worked as an administrative secretary at the University Hospital, for the United Way and retiring from Krepps Hall at West Virginia University.
A faithful member for many years of the First Baptist Church of Point Marion, she formerly sang in the church choir, diligently studied her Bible and was always willing to share her faith.
Surviving is her husband of 61 years, Carl W. Weber, Sr.; two children and their spouses, Carl Weber, Jr. (Debra) of Terra Alta and Susan Arnold (George Lash) of McClure, Pa.; four grandchildren: Carl, Wesley, Cody and Kristen; three great-grandchildren: Anna, James and Jared; and one sister, JoAnn Dingle of Morgantown.
Deceased are brothers: Richard, Raymond, Harold, Marvin “Buck” and Robert Travis; and sisters, Marcella Lyons and Nancy Travis.
Friends will be received in the Richard R. Herod Funeral Home, Point Marion, Pa., from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. hour of service, on Monday, July 7, with Pastor Kathy Griffith officiating. Interment follows in Evergreen Memorial Park, Point Marion, Pa.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered to the First Baptist Church of Point Marion, 515 Morgantown St., Point Marion, PA 15474.
