Granville holds final standalone election

The town of Granville conducted its final standalone municipal election on Tuesday before joining the county-run primary ballot in May.

According to unofficial results, 50 votes were cast.

The five town council candidates elected (with vote totals) are: Patricia Forbes (35), David Bean (35), Nicky Boyers (31), Ron Clark (27) and Bobbi Jo Wolfe (20). Logan Batholomew received 18 votes.

Mayor Patty Lewis received 45 votes and Recorder Mary Beth Renner received 44 in uncontested races.

The winners will serve a one-year term. The seats will be back up for election with the traditional two-year term as part of the county-run primary ballot in May 2026.

All results are unofficial until confirmed through canvassing.
