Robert “Bob” Lee Pratt, 87, of Tunnelton, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2025, in Mon Health Medical Center. Bob was born January 9, 1938, in Denver, a son of the late William “Bill” Lee and May Bell Bolyard Pratt.
Bob was a 1955 graduate of Tunnelton High School and a U.S. Army veteran.
He held offices for the Tunnelton Historical Society and the Tunnelton Alumni Association. Bob started the old Denver School reunions.
He was the owner and mechanic of Pratt’s Garage in Howesville for over 56 years.
In the mornings, he spent his time socializing and playing “Phase 10” with his friends. He also enjoyed basketball, NASCAR and antique cars.
Bob is survived by three nephews, Charles Baylor and wife Kathryn of Arthurdale, Richard Baylor and wife Pam of Kingwood, Sam Britton and wife Sue of Madison, Ohio; one niece, Barb Britton of Florida; and many cousins and friends.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his two sisters, Ruby A. Baylor and Helen Britton; and two nieces, Nancy Dakon and Lisa Baylor.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 5, at the Shaw Cemetery, Denver, with the Reverend Russell Riley officiating. Full military honors will be conducted by the Preston County Honor Guard.
