Brenda Lee Sines

Brenda Lee Sines, 83, of Tunnelton, passed away peacefully, in her home, Sunday, May 25, 2025. Brenda was born November 11, 1941, in Kingwood, a daughter of the late Asa Franklin and Bertha Jane Minor.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt. Her family was the love of her life.
She was a member of Irona Full Gospel Assembly.
Brenda enjoyed playing with her grandchildren, listening to hymns, feeding the birds, and helping others in need.
She had worked as a nurse’s aide and as a Head Start teacher, both which she dearly loved.
Brenda is survived by her loving daughter, Patty Barlow and husband Randy; a special grandson, Cody Lee Barlow and wife Brittany; two precious great- grandchildren, Leah Grace and Carson Lee Barlow; and several treasured nieces and nephews. One of those nieces, Connie Jean Minor, the daughter of Brenda’s brother, Carl, lived in Brenda’s home from the age of three, off and on through high school, and was just like another member of the family.
In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George Francis Sines; four sisters, Dana Minor, Edna Plodzik, Dorothy Bolyard, and Diana Minor; five brothers, Frank Minor, Joe Minor, Carl Minor, Don Minor, and Richard Minor.
Friends may call at Kingwood Funeral Home, 295 S. Price Street, Kingwood, from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 28. Visitation will continue in the funeral home Thursday, May 29, from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m., officiated by Pastor Henry Garletts. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
