Mack King

Mack King, 90, of Wadestown, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 8, 2025, in Morgantown Health Care Center and is now home with his Lord.
He was born June 26, 1934, to the late Harry “Buster” King and Mary Evelyn Delaney.
He graduated from Clay-Battelle High School Class of 1953.
He was a farmer and master electrician and was a member of IBEW for 54 years. He worked as general foreman on the Kennedy Youth Center, PRT and Shinnston and Fort Martin power plants. He helped design and install the first snow-making equipment in West Virginia at Alpine Lane while working for FK Everest.
Mack was a passionate WVU sports fan and attended many games.
He is survived by his daughter, Valerie (Randy) Copeland; his sons, Mack Jr. (Shawn) and Lynn (Nancy); grandchildren Erica Petrucci, Brooke Glover, Ryan Copeland and Amber Copeland; brother, John King; his sister-in-law, Glendora Headley; and many stepchildren and stepgrandchildren, Wyatt, Gabby and his buddy, Chance.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Frances King; his parents; and his brothers, Billy and Jack King.
At his request, his body was donated to science at WVU and no services will be held.
