Norma Jane Williams, 89, of Miracle Run, died Friday, May 23, 2025, in her residence.
She was born November 9, 1935, at Miracle Run, a daughter of the late Jesse Homer Simpson and Lula Madge Tennant Simpson.
Mrs. Williams was a homemaker and a member of the Miracle Run United Methodist Church. She also was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Surviving are two sons and their spouses, David and Cheryl Williams, and Mark and Debbie Williams, all of Miracle Run; one son-in-law, Roger Swanson of Miracle Run; six grandchildren, Chad Swanson, Eric Swanson, Davy (Chasity) Williams, Chelsa (Josh) Rockwell, Ashley (Greg) Hunt, and Adams Williams; along with nine great- grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Freddie Wayne “Chug” Williams, who died October 18, 2022; one brother, Jackie Simpson; and one great- grandson, Grady Andrew Hunt.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 26, in the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason-Dixon Highway, Blacksville. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 27, with Pastor John Brosky officiating. Interment will follow in the Core Cemetery at Bula.
