Jack E. Jamison, Jr., 76, of River Road, passed away Friday, May 16, 2025, in The Madison Center. He was born August 24, 1948, in Morgantown, a son of the late Jack E. Jamison, Sr. and Barbara Talbott Jamison.
He was a graduate of Morgantown High School, Class of 1967. After graduation from Fairmont State with a degree in engineering technology/electrical electronics, he worked as an inside sales engineer with General Electric in Rome, Ga. before returning to Morgantown to work as a master electrician in the family electrical contracting business and then as an electrical inspector.
He was a founding member of the West Virginia Chapter of the Independent Alliance of the Electrical Industry.
Known for his ability to quote the current electrical code, constant willingness to help a customer, unending devotion to his family, wild hair and bushy eyebrows, love of hot air balloons and white chocolate macadamia nut cookies, he will be greatly missed by all.
Jack is survived by his wife of 41 years, Cindy Jamison; daughters, Jodi Beard (Shawn) of Canonsburg, Catie Chalmers (Lee) of Warrenton, Va., Jennifer Sparkman (Christopher) of Gray Court, S.C., and Julie McNamar (James) of Columbia, S.C.; one sister, Judy Clemmer (Kevin) of Mount Sidney, Va.; brother-in-law, David Shamberger; his grandchildren, Kayla Higgins (David), Christian Jamison, Lauren Hussion, Dorian Mason (fiancée Megan), Sarah Hussion, Zachery Jamison, Lacey Chalmers, Chase Mason, Blake Mason; and great- grandchildren, Avery and Riley Higgins, Lyncoln LeRoy, and Alex Mason.
In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his sister, Jill Shamberger.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at The Madison Center for their care and patience during his stay.

Family and friends may call at McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Westover, from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, May 18. Visitation will continue in the funeral home Monday, May 19, from 10 until the funeral begins at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at East Oak Grove Cemetery.
