Pamela Louise Hilling Sypolt, 78, of Morgantown, passed away Tuesday afternoon, May 6, 2025, at Mon Health Medical Center with her family by her side.
She was born on May 30, 1947, in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Howard and Virginia Lowe Hilling.
She leaves to cherish her memory her nephew Charlie Phillips of Morgantown; her niece Rachel Jenkins and husband Chester of Washington, Pa.; her great- niece Rachel Marie; her great-nephews, Terran Lee, and Robert James; and her ever faithful canine companion, Mickey.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Larry; her sister and brother-in—law, Penny Lee and Bernard Phillips.
Pam’s life was one of giving to her community and her family. She was charitable, selfless and giving of herself by donating her time and money to various animal charities, as well as Christian Help where she was one of the founders of their Career Closet, and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
She was an amazing friend to animals and was passionate about their well-being. Pam loved walking Mickey through the neighborhood where they would visit with their two and four legged friends.
Also, she loved flower gardening, and reading her Bible, as she was a devout Christian.
She also enjoyed sitting on the edge of her chair watching in high anticipation what would happen next on Ice Road Truckers.
Family and friends may join to honor her life and legacy at Smith Funeral and Cremation Care, 108 Holland Ave., Westover, 304-292-9494 Wednesday, May 14, 11 a.m. until the time of her funeral service at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at the East Oak Grove Cemetery.
