Betty L. Yoke, 83, of Morgantown, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2025, in WVU Medicine – JW Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
She was born January 7, 1942, in Terra Alta, a daughter of the late Charles W. Latham and the late Ida McNear Eye.
Betty is survived by her children, Robert Teets, Jr. (Kelli), Theresa Libert (Ron), Roberta Huff (Brian), and Chrystal Teets; her grandchildren, Tyler and Regan Teets, Brandi Libert- Larson, Alena McFarland, Brian J. Huff, Amanda Poe, Jeremiah Purdue; her great- grandchildren, Kimber, Ezekiel, Samantha, Nathan, Keaton, August, Austin, MacKenna, Aiden, Mariah, Zachary, Jaymee, Ayden, Weston and Wyatt; great-great- grandchildren, Resey, Emri, Tyson and Jenna; her sister, Carol Price; a special niece, Raquel Lee Gifford; and her special friends, Melissa Tennant and Karen Rice.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John “Jack” Yoke; two grandchildren, Josiah Moses Payton and Jennifer Libert; and her sister, Jackie Stump.
Family and friends are invited to honor Betty’s life and legacy in Smith Funeral & Cremation Care, 108 Holland Avenue, Westover, (304) 292-9494, from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 2, and again Saturday, May 3, from 10 until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m., officiated by Pastor Stephen Dodrill. Following the funeral service and at Betty’s request, she will be cremated.
