Daniel D. Sperandio, 75, of Core, passed away Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025, in his residence, with his family at his side.
He was born July 5, 1949, in Morgantown, a son of the late Donald and Coleen Sperandio.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Martha Phillips Sperandio; his daughters, Linda Jaster (Rick), and Brenda Merrifield (John); his most treasured gift, his granddaughter, Gracie Wilson (Keilean); his step- grandchildren, Johnny Merrifield, and Jessy Merrifield (Emily); his stepgreat-granddaughter, Victoria Merrifield; and nephews, Michael Frame, and Tony and Clay Sperandio.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Rebecca Sperandio; his maternal grandparents, Clarence “Dutch” and Pearl Harvey; and paternal grandparents, Tony and Adeline Sperandio; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Charles and Betty Phillips.
He retired from Brown’s Equipment, and enjoyed hunting, and riding his four-wheeler with his granddaughter.
At his request, Daniel will be cremated and no public services will be held.
