Pamela Rose Stevens Smith, 68, of Morgantown, passed away unexpectedly Friday, April 11, 2025. For the last 11 years, Pamela had been living in Sullivan, Ohio, with her daughter and son-in-law.
Pamela was a follower of Jesus Christ and was a member of Wellington Freewill Baptist Church.
She loved to laugh, collect Wizard of Oz memorabilia, going to yard sales and thrift stores, playing cards and board games, and being around her family and friends.
Pamela is survived by her daughters, Debbie (Wade) Lamp, Danielle Layman; sister, Paulette Flowers; brothers, Bryan (Brandi) Stevens, and Mark Stevens; grandsons, Christopher (Ashley) Lamp, Tristan (Kennedy) Lamp, Bryce Layman; and granddaughter, Kyla Korzun; great- grandchildren, Alaynna Lamp, Carter Lamp, Remie Lamp, Bentley Lamp, Carolina Steele, Lennon Steele, Harlyn Schrout; and many nephews and nieces.
Pamela was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great- grandmother.
Pamela was preceded in death by her husband, Danny; mother, Rosella Stevens; father, Kenneth Stevens; and son-in-law, Robert “Robbie” Layman.
In lieu of visitations, Pamela’s wishes were to be cremated.
A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 26, in Wellington Freewill Baptist Church, 205 Woodland Street, Wellington, OH 44090.
She will be buried in Morgantown on Friday, May 9, at 1 p.m., at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens, 1290 Fairmont Road, Morgantown.
There will be a celebration of life at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 10, at 668 River Road, Westover.
