Mary Jane “Janie” Hess, 78, of Morgantown, passed away peacefully Friday, April 18, 2025.
Janie was a retired hairdresser. Her passion was helping the Wounded Warriors project.
She is survived and loved by her children, Karrie Labove, Jay Ashley, Adam Ashley; her grandchildren, Aaron Labove, Cody Labove, Miranda Ashley, Kayla Ashley, Ryan Ashley; and great-grandchild, Ashton Labove.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carrelton Ray Hess and Alice Mildred Hess.
Donations may be made to Disabled Vets or Wounded Warriors.
Per Janie’s wishes, there will be no services. She was laid to rest in Zoar Cemetery.
