Dylan “Smokey” George, 24, of Morgantown, passed away Friday, April 11, 2025, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, from a tragic fall sustained at home. He was born June 24, 2000, a son of Shelly Deavers and Lance E. Deavers; John George, II and Melody George.
He enjoyed playing his guitar and video games, skateboarding, and spending time with his best friends, Ashley and Dakota “Bean” along with his cousin, Ava and Ashley’s daughters, Allie and Sarah.
He was an organ donor and is donating his hair for children as his last act of love.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandparents, Debbie Parenti, Kevin Parenti, John George, Sr., H. Lance Deavers, Diana Deavers, James Bee and Twila Bee; siblings, Devin George, Kaylee Andersen, Alex Andersen and wife Kelcy; and nieces and nephews, Carter Andersen, Cole Andersen, Ava Andersen, and Lillian George. He also loved his many aunts, uncles and cousins, including special cousin, Ava Livengood, along with his many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Judith George; and his fiancee, Andrea Martinez (may they be hand in hand now).

Hastings Funeral Home has been entrusted with cremation arrangements. Friends and family will be received in Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, from 5 until the time of the memorial service at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 17, with Pastor Shawn Frasher officiating.
