Angela Lynn Garletts Smith passed away Sunday, March 30, 2025, in John’s Creek, Ga., with her family by her side. Born on July 19, 1965, in Cleveland, Ohio, Angela was 59 years old.
Angela earned a degree in elementary education from West Virginia University, which reflects her dedication to learning and nurturing others.
Her life was marked by strength and resilience, particularly over the past decade, as she faced cancer with unwavering determination and courage.
Angela deeply loved her family and held those bonds close throughout her life. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Ryann Smith; her brother, George Garletts Jr.; sister Michelle Garletts- Hancock; and her nephews, Logan Garletts, Zackquill Hancock, Chad Kisner, and Seth Garletts.
Angela was preceded in death by her parents, George and Elizabeth Garletts; grandparents: Bernard and Elizabeth Figiel, and Ernest and Virginia Garletts; and her aunt, Evelyn Figiel.
Angela’s legacy is one of strength, love, and perseverance. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
